ITINERARY:
Day-1 Guwahati- Kaziranga Arrive at Guwahati and Proceed to Kaziranga (225 kms/ 5 hrs)- a renowned National Park for one-horned Rhinos and wide ranging migratory Birds. O/n at hotel in Kaziranga.
Day-2 Elephant Ride and Jeep Safari Early morning, enjoy the Elephant safari (if guests get chance to go for elephant safari at Central range (Kohora), they have to pay rs. 800 per forest vehicle for pick up/drop from hotel as outside vehicle is not allowed to go to central range) . Apart from rhinos, you can also find swamp deer, wild buffalo and various species of birds. In afternoon, enjoy jeep safari at park. O/n at hotel in Kaziranga.
Day-3 Kaziranga- Majuli- Jorhat Proceed to Jorhat (110 kms / 2.5 hrs). Drive upto Nimatighat and then cross Brahmaputra River by local ferry (1hr downstream boat cruise ) to reach Majuli. On arrival explore Majuli, visit Satras - the cultural places- birth place of Vaishnavite culture in Assam. Later visit Pottery village and Mask making village. Later in the day, get transferred to Jorhat by boarding your boat. O/n at hotel in Jorhat.
Day-4 Jorhat- Dibugarh via Sivsagar Travel to Sivasagar (50km) which was once the capital of the 600-year-old Ahom Dynasty. Visit Shiva Dol (The tallest Shiva temple in the entire north east), Borpukhuri (manmade water Reservoir), Rang Ghar (Asia's largest amphitheatre and was the cultural playground of the Ahom Swargadeos or kings) and Talatal Ghar (Palace of the King). Later proceed to Dibrugarh (260 km/ 5 hrs). O/n at hotel in Dibrugarh
Day-5 Dibrugarh Travel to Tinsukia (50 km/1.5 hrs), to board the cruise for Dibru Saikhuwa National park sightseeing. Dibru Saikhowa's main attraction is the White Winged Wood Duck. Enjoy beach gathering, beach Volleyball during the cruise through National Park. O/n at hotel in Dibrugarh
Day-6 Departure Depart to Dibrugarh airport/railway sttaion for onward journey. Tour ends
